Charles “Charlie” Dewayne Coker Sr. age 60 of Estill Springs, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2019. He was born on May 8, 1958 in Winchester, Tennessee to the late John and Christine Coker. He enjoyed fishing, spending time grilling out and playing horse shoes with family and friends. He was an avid Alabama football fan “Roll Tide” and Nascar especially Jimmy Johnson. Mr. Coker loved going to the flea market and yard sales. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his second mom, Opal Marie Gipson Partin; sister-in-law, Angela K. Barnes. Mr. Coker is survived by his wife, Lenora Perry Coker; son, Charles Dewayne Coker Jr. and James of Watertown, TN; daughter, Michelle Jackson of Texas; 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson; sisters; Johnnie Trussell and Allen of Fayetteville, Melissa (Jimmy) Cook of Wisconsin, Tracey Bohanan of Winchester, Jennie (Harold) Rittenhouse of McMinnville, Vickie (Richard) Thompson of Winchester, Jill (Tommy) Brown of Fayetteville, Anita Counts of Winchester; brothers, Coby (Kaye) Partin of Winchester, Darrell (Nancy) Partin of Winchester, Carl (Linda) Partin of Manchester, Barry (Kelly) Powers of Decherd and Troy Barnes (Beverly Partin) of Winchester; special caregivers, Polly and Walter Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and special friends. Visitation will be Monday, March 11, 2019 from 5:00pm -8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 3:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Carol Taylor and Sis. Sharon Taylor.
