One of her projects being St Paul Hospital and professional building in Dallas, TX . She was an inventor and later awarded a patent for her dressing nook which became a common fixture in many medical facilities. Ann's love for the outdoors and the quiet beauty of the hill country always called her back to Wimberley where she rescued and cared for her large breed Scottish Deerhounds who became a fixture at the "top of the hill" on her land, roaming free and chasing after the many resident deer. Ann loved her volunteer work at the Wimberley Village Store thrift shop where she was a board member and also continued to use her design talents to create uniquely beautiful weekly displays. She is survived by her two daughters; Jean and husband, Joe Waldschmidt of Wimberley, Texas; and Celeste and husband, Frai Hamid of Plano, Texas as well as her two loving granddaughters, Morgan & Teagan Waldschmidt, her sister, Sally and husband, Ray Barrilleaux of Duluth, Georgia and nieces, Lee Barrilleaux of Sarasota, Florida and Sarah and husband, Brion Zaeh of Suwanee, Georgia.
