Vernon James Klingensmith Jr., 27, of Vandergrift passed away March 1, 2019. He was born December 17, 1991 and the son of Vern (Michelle) Klingensmith. Vern was a graduate of Kiski Area High School and was employed in the construction field. He was a member of the Slovak, American Legion, and Bari Club in Vandergrift. Vern was always a big guy with a big heart. He enjoyed shooting pool with friends, the outdoors, and spending his time with his daughter and nephews. He is survived by his father Vernon James Klingensmith Sr., his daughter Phoenix Klingensmith both of Allegheny Township, his sister Ashley (Zackary Shannon) Klingensmith of Gilpin, two nephews Gavin and Roczen Shannon, his significant other Kelly Marchezak and mother-in-law Barb Marchezak of Mamont, grandmother FayLynn Klingensmith of Parkstownship and, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Michelle L. Klingensmith, two grandfather’s Rodney Klingensmith and John Trefelner, and grandmother JoAnn Emerick. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday March 5, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm at The Janette L.
