Stephanie Michelle Huggins Edmonds, Washington Obituary

Stephanie Michelle Huggins

Stephanie Michelle Huggins (Riley) was born in Seattle, WA on July 26, 1977, and died February 27, 2019, at age 41. It is with sad yet joyful hearts that family and friends say goodbye to our precious Stephanie. Sad that we are left behind and will miss her yet joyful knowing she is with our Lord and no longer in pain and can breathe. Stephanie fought hard throughout her almost 12-year battle until her body could fight no more. She is our hero and our inspiration. She taught us what strength and courage are. Stephanie attended Parkwood Elementary, Einstein Junior High and graduated from Shorewood High School. She attended Shoreline Community College and earned her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Growing up she enjoyed camping, swimming, Jr. cheerleading, Girl Scouts, and Disneyland. She played softball into adulthood, enjoyed rollerblading with friends, tried snowboarding, and was a bowler. In 2001, she married the love of her life, Ken; and had two boys; Elijah and Eathen. Her three men were her reason for living. They are her pride and joy. She also loved her dogs; Coco and Muttley. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides and her cousins Christopher and Tia and Aunt Renae. Stephanie is survived by her mother Patsy Riley, her father Stan Riley (Gail), her husband Ken and boys Elijah and Eathen, sisters, Janelle Yurth (Nate) and Heather Riley (Dustin) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. We are all truly blessed to have her in our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
