Pamela Stahlecker was born March 2, 1950 to Lorenz and Evelyn Rohwer. She died March 1, 2019 one day before her 69th birthday at Tiffany Square Center in Grand Island.  She grew up as a farm girl outside Gretna, NE and graduated from Gretna High School in 1968. She began working in Omaha for Physician’s Mutual Insurance Co. and later worked from Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Omaha.  She met her husband Stan Stahlecker and the couple married November 21, 1970. To this union two children were born, Dusti Jo Walker of Chadron and Adam John Stahlecker of Grand Island.  Pam enjoyed music, crocheting, reading, dancing, bird watching, gardening and horses; she especially enjoyed spending time with family.  She leaves to mourn her passing, husband Stan of Grand Island, NE, her children Dusti (Kelly) Walker of Chadron and Adam Stahlecker of Grand Island; granddaughter, Hannah Walker; one sister Karen Becher of Omaha, nephews and nieces and a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, three sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law and two nephews.  The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Ev Lutheran Church in Naper, NE with Pastor Tom Schneider from Grand Island officiating. Interment will be held at Knoll Crest Cemetery at Naper, NE at a later date. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Ev Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be directed to www.livson.com.
