Burlin “Woody” Woodruff, 87, of Panama City, FL went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019. He was born November 28, 1931 to the late Taylor A. Woodruff and Bessie Hamby in Gaston County, North Carolina. Woody was a member of Callaway Assembly of God and served 26 years in the United States Air Force in Communications. Those left to cherish Woody’s memory include his wife of 64 years, Naomi Woodruff; daughters, Donna Hanning and husband, David and Robin White and husband, Ron; son, Steven Woodruff and wife, Vicki; grandchildren, Jeremy Woodruff, Summer Woodruff, Christopher Norris, Evelyn Burttram (Matt), Marcus Norris, Dustin Dykes and Dillon Dykes; and three nieces. Pallbearers will be Dave Hanning, Christopher Norris, Marcus Norris, Ron White, Dustin Dykes, Dillon Dykes, Landon Swiech and James Smith. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Parker Cemetery.
