Linda K. (Waters) Carmen, 62, of New Castle passed away February 27, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on July 29, 1956 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Catherine Hawkins Waters.

She was formerly married to James Carmen.

Linda was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She later worked for Shenango China and Double R Enterprise.

Linda was a member of Victory Christian Center and St. Paul’s Church. Linda loved to cook and listen to good music. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and her Soap Operas. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her children, Jermaine L. Waters, Devon Carmen both of New Castle, brothers, Robert (Wanda) Waters of Vandergrift Pa. , Calvin (Darcel) Waters of New Castle, sisters, Helen (Harold) Askerneese of New Castle, Darlene “Cookie” (Sheldon) Evans of Monaca, Pa, grandchildren, Kaylynn Waters, Mariah Byers, Jaleah Waters and Jermaine Waters, Jr.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Jerome Waters, sister, Shirley Chandler and grandson, Tae’Von Carmen-Harris.

Visitation will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Victory Christian Center, New Castle campus.

A Home Going service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Alonzo Waters will officiate.

Entombment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
