Victor Rayden "Vic" Daniel

Victor Rayden "Vic" Daniel Loving Husband and Father Maggie Valley - Vic Daniel, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at J.F. Keever Solace Center, on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Vic was born in Smyrna, GA to the late Harry and Evelyn Daniel. He was preceded in death by his first wife JoAnn Daniel and his step-son, Terry Cogdill. Vic is survived by his loving wife, Betty Hannah Daniel; a daughter, Amanda Beam, both of Maggie Valley; three sons, Grant (Andria), Monty and Jeff (Janice) Jerkins all of Georgia; brother, Gary (Mary) Daniel of Georgia; sister-in-law, Pat Davis of Maggie Valley; brother-in-law; Eddie (Cindy) Hannah of Balsam; five grand-children, Ashley, Conner, Zach, Blake, and Laura; four great-grandchildren; Ashton, Heidi, Ember, Selah; his very good friend who was like a son to him, Tom; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He loved the work he did at Lockheed Martin and retired after 38 years on the job. Vic enjoyed traveling, C-130s, and the music of Queen and AC/DC. Vic loved to laugh and enjoyed life. He had a very big heart and lived everyday to the fullest and was always wondering what he could do next. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Smoky Mountain Chapel with Reverend Michael Revord officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
