Mr. Albert Junior Miller, age 72 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Hinshaw Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Collins and Rev. Robert Wiles officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 prior to the service at the church. Mr. Miller was born September 16, 1946 in Ashe County to James Wiley Miller and Mary Estella Miller. He was retired from the Town of North Wilkesboro as the Superintendent of Streets. Mr. Miller was a former North Wilkesboro Fireman, former coach of Little League Ball, an avid bowler; at which he won several trophies and other prizes and was a CB enthusiast. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Geneva Laws Miller, two sons; Roy Guy Miller and Kenneth Lee Miller, three sisters; Grace Miller Roberts, Blanche Miller Baker and Martha Deanie Miller Myers and four brothers; Wiley James (JL) Miller, Virgil Miller, Roy Miller and Harrold Gene Miller. He is survived by a daughter in law; Tammy Wood, a grandson; Allen James Miller a brother; Herbert Charles Miller of Rock Creek and several nieces and nephews.
