Laurie A. Montgomery

Laurie A. Montgomery, 54, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:26 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at her parents’ home in Bloomington. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. There will be no visitation. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for her grandsons’ education. She was born July 3, 1964 in Bloomington, a daughter of Larry and Patricia Cavanagh Greenwald. She married Ron Montgomery on April 23, 1988. Surviving are her husband, Ron, of Bloomington; a daughter, Jessica (Troy) Wibben of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Owen and Luke Wibben and Emmett Wibben, due in June; her parents, Larry and Pat Greenwald of Bloomington; and a sister, Christine Kennedy of Bloomington. Laurie graduated from Bloomington High School and attended ISU and Parkland College. She was an underwriter at Clemens and Associates. Laurie most loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed loving on her grandsons.
