Denise Lin Doering, age 65, passed away on March 20, 2025, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Born on September 30, 1959, in Tomah, Wisconsin, Denise was the beloved daughter of Rosemary and George Doering.

She was blessed with a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Denise was a devoted mother, sister, partner, and friend. She is survived by her son, Travis Maki; her daughter, Georgette Maki; her significant other, David Stephens; her brother, Dan Doering; and her granddaughter, Desirea Jacenko. Denise will also be remembered fondly by her cousins, nieces, and many extended family members, all of whom she touched deeply throughout her life.

A graduate of Cardinal Stritch College, Denise earned a degree in Business Management, which paved the way for a career in marketing and human resources at Wisconsin Dairies, now known as Foremost Farms. She later served as the Health and Safety Manager at Organic Valley.

Denise enjoyed horseback riding throughout her life, and her heart was unwaveringly devoted to her children as she poured her love into raising them. Denise cherished family trips to Florida, California, and Lake Michigan, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by her loved ones. Those who knew Denise will remember her as a loving, caring, and cheerful soul, always quick to forgive and ready to share her kindness with others. She was known as the "best mom ever" by her children. Denise had an extraordinary ability to make everyone around her feel special and loved, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary and George Doering, and her brother, Doug Doering. While her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, her spirit will forever shine brightly in the memories of her family and friends.

A celebration of Denise's life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc, Wisconsin, with a visitation from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and memorial service at 5:00 p.m., followed with fellowship at the American Legion Hall in Wonewoc.
