David C. Chapman

<p>David C. Chapman, of Hyannis Port, passed away at home on April 11, 2025. Loving son of the late Carl &amp; Martha (Bunker) Chapman. David was a graduate of Barnstable High School and was a plumber on Cape Cod for many years until his retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>He enjoyed scalloping, digging for quahogs, and riding up and down the dunes at Sandy Neck Beach. David also was a member of the Hyannis Elks.</p><p><br></p><p>David is survived by his children, Kim Chapman of FL, Karyn (Pat) Convery of AZ, Neil (Lisa) Chapman of Pembroke, Alyssa Chapman of Hyannis Port, David (Julianne) Chapman of NY, his grandchildren, Joshua (Anna) Coleman, Evan Thayer, Haley &amp; Justine Chapman, Dylan Chapman, and Joseph Chapman. He was predeceased by his daughter Lorraine Thayer and his siblings Carol, Peter, and Mark.</p><p><br></p><p>David’s services and burial will be private.</p><p><br></p><p>To celebrate his life, please enjoy “a six pack and a pepperoni pizza” as David would have wanted.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>

Obituary

David C. Chapman, of Hyannis Port, passed away at home on April 11, 2025. Loving son of the late Carl & Martha (Bunker) Chapman. David was a graduate of Barnstable High School and was a plumber on Cape Cod for many years until his retirement.


He enjoyed scalloping, digging for quahogs, and riding up and down the dunes at Sandy Neck Beach. David also was a member of the Hyannis Elks.
