Mildred Hickman Pierce

Mildred Hickman Pierce, 88, of Waynesburg, formerly of Mt. Morris, PA, died at 12:33 PM Monday, February 25, 2019, in the Evergreen Personal Care in Waynesburg, PA. She was born Saturday, February 07, 1931 in Elm Grove, WV. A daughter of the late Alfred W. Hickman and Helen Danley Hickman. Mrs. Pierce was affiliated with the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. She was a graduate of Mt. Morris High School Class of 1949. Mrs. Pierce was a former member of the Greene County American Red Cross and the Greene County Cancer Society. She was a volunteer for the Greene County Emergency Management and was a Homemaker. Her Husband: Clayton D. Pierce, Jr. whom she married on July 06, 1949 died June 25, 1995. Surviving are several cousins and her friends and caregivers Timothy Logan of Prosperity, PA., and Warren and Fran Headley of Mt.Morris, PA. Tim would like to thank the staff at Evergreen Personal Care for their love and care they showed to Mildred. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM the time of the service on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt.
