Blacksburg -- Mrs. Polly Ann Peterson, 77, of 341 Holly Ridge Rd., went home to be with Jesus on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Born in York, SC, she was the widow of Eugene Peterson, daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Robinson, and sister of Robert Robinson, Bill Robinson, Hazel Justice, and the late Sadie Hill. Polly was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church in Blacksburg, SC.

In addition to her brothers and sister, surviving Mrs. Peterson are two sons, Robert (Lisa) and Ernest (Kim) Peterson; three grandchildren, Robert (Stacey) Peterson Jr., Savannah (Jeff) Wilkins, and Elizabeth Peterson; and four great-grandchildren, Josiah and Ella Grace Wilkins, and Lucas and Layla Peterson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Mortuary chapel with Rev. Lee Coyle officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home of Savannah and Jeff Wilkins, 513 S Shelby St., Blacksburg.
