LEBLANC, Emile Joseph age 76, passed away on March 20, 2025 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax on March 18, 1949, he was the son of the late Jacob and Elsie Marie (Deveau) LeBlanc.
Emile was a teacher and Vice Principal at SAR and Drumlin schools. He was Queen Scout, and very involved in Scouts, Cubs and teaching t-ball. His students spoke highly of him, and some will remember his ingenious business idea, Rappie Pie on a Stick. He liked to stay busy, and enjoyed camping, cooking and creating stained glass artwork.
Emile is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Ann LeBlanc; son, Aaron (Terri-Lynn) LeBlanc; and grandchildren, Jacob & Quinn.
Besides his parents, Emile was predeceased by his son, Marc Emile LeBlanc; and sister, Yvette LeBlanc-Smith.
The family would like to extend a Thank-You to the Oncology Department and the doctors and nurses on 4 north for their exceptional care.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A visitation will be held on March 27, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in Huskilsons Funeral Chapel, Yarmouth. Father Henry Smolenaars officiating.
