Ayala, Daniel Joseph, age 63 of North Tustin, California passed away January 21, 2019 Danny was a larger than life person. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, god-father and most of all friend. Danny was born October 25th in Oxnard California. Danny was preceded in death by his mom Gloria Castellanos of Garden Grove and his father Lonnie Ayala of Oxnard CA. Danny is survived by his sisters, Barbara Ayala (husband Jack McGraw) of Stanton, Lisa Maccabe (husband Dean) of North Tustin and youngest sister Cristi Castellanos of Garden Grove. He was a fun and loving uncle to Caitlin, Sydney and Liam. He was great uncle to Willow, Nikita and River. Danny grew up in Garden Gove CA. Sports were ever present in Danny’s life. He loved playing baseball, basketball and volleyball. Additionally, Danny enjoyed coaching. He coached his sisters in softball and volleyball. He also coached high school basketball at La Quinta High School. Danny umpired adult softball leagues in Irvine. As life went on Danny discovered a love of golf which he enjoyed playing on a weekly basis. Danny loved the arts, especially drama, which he got into at Garden Grove High School. He enjoyed public speaking which led to his eventual business of event planning. Danny had a successful event planning company, Funtastic Events for the next 30 years. Danny will be missed by so many. His fun-loving way, his wit and most of all his devotion to his family and friends were endless. Danny was a beautiful bright light through his entire FUNTASTIC life. All who knew and loved Danny will carry his light always. #DannywasFUNTASTIC A memorial service will be held at 11 am March 1st 2019 at Saddleback Chapel 220 E.
