Pamela W. Smith

Ms. Pamela Smith of Cedarburg passed away at Autumn Leaves of Franklin late Monday evening, February 11, 2019. She was 90 years old. Pam was born in Milwaukee on July 14, 1928, daughter of Geoffrey and Marion Helliwell Willoughby. She attended local schools and graduated from Whitefish Bay High School before attending U W Madison and earning her bachelors degree before attaining her teaching degree. She was united in marriage with Warren D. Smith in August of 1951 and the couple had two daughters. They later divorced. Ms. Smith moved to Cedarburg in 1973 and was a teacher at Woodview School in Grafton. She was a very active member of Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg, and had enjoyed volunteering at Family Sharing of Ozaukee County and Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her daughters Jacquelyn (Donald) Zelmer of Milwaukee and Carolyn (Anthony) Neargarder of Union City, IN. She is further survived by six grandchildren: Kristin (Lloyd) Hoeper, Adam (Lori) Zelmer, Jacquelyn Wallace, Laura (James) Scott, Hailey (Nick) Wright and Brenda (Tom) Lardy, nine great-grandchildren, brother Keith (Lilo) Willoughby of Norway, ME, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by brother Alan Willoughby. Private family services will be held. She will be laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee at a later date.
