Norma R. Williams
Toulon – Norma R. Williams, 79, of Toulon, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at Toulon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Norma was born February 17, 1939 in Galesburg, the daughter of Lenard and Nellie Rosetta (Sargeant) Chesser. Surviving are two daughters, Gwen Williams and Betty Williams both of Toulon; two sisters, Bonnie Delabar of Toulon and Yvette Kemp of Galesburg; two brothers, George (Marilyn) Chesser of Wyoming and Harry Chesser of Toulon; four nephews; four nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harvey Chesser. Norma worked as a cook at Toulon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for over 25 years, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed taking trips, going out to lunch, doing crossword puzzles and adult coloring. She also loved to cook and bake, often making cookies for those she knew. Norma was a wonderful and loving mother. There will be no public funeral service. Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Toulon is in charge of arrangements.February 17, 1939 - February 11, 201902/17/193902/11/2019
