Evelyn R. Gardner
Evelyn R. Gardner age 88 of Canton, Oh., passed away Sunday morning, December 16, 2001 in Hennis Care Centre, Bolivar, Oh., following an extended illness. Born in Wilmot, Oh., March 10, 1913 to her parents the late William Boyd and Zelda (Robinett) Richards, she has been a resident of the Canton area since 1967. She was preceded in death by her brother, Milton Richards and two sons, Larry Allen Gardner and Gary Lynn Gardner. Survivors include her loving husband, Dennis Gardner of the home to whom she was married 65 years, November 30, 2001, her sister, Thelma Henning of North Canton, Oh., two grandchildren and their spouses, Todd Allen and Rebecca Gardner of Venice, FL., Brian Lynn and Wendy Gardner of Palmdale, CA.,two great grandchildren, Zachary Allen Gardner and Tyler James Gardner. There are several nieces and nephews also surviving. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 11:00 A.M. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Harold L. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wilmot, Oh. Calling hours at the funeral home Wednesday 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. and one hour prior to services on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M.Obituary
