Mark S. Merriott, age 61, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, July 5, 2018. He was born on August 26, 1956 in Hot Springs, the son of Wiley Merriott and Dolores Gloor Merriott. He was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Shannon Stone. Mark was a member of St. John Catholic Church. He worked as an electrician for many years and was the owner of Mark Merriott Electric. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Chelsea Merriott; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Merriott and Gunner Merriott; his mother Dolores Merriott; one sister, Elizabeth Cochran, all of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Harry Crabtree officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will be Joey Suit, Stevie Joe Faulkner, Gary Archer, Dennis Reid, Anthony Terry and Aaron Merriott.
