Sondra M. Hoffman

Sondra M. Hoffman, 79 of Graytown, OH died unexpectedly Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home. She was born April 4, 1938 in Fremont, OH to the late Myron and Nina (Spade) McCollister. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On July 14, 1956 she married Arthur J. Hoffman who preceded her in death July 13, 2013. Sondra was a homemaker and a proud member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Fremont, OH where she was known as the "cupcake maker" for the church. She enjoyed her time with friends from her local Bunco Club and golfing at Sugar Creek in Elmore, OH where she had presided over the women's golf league. She loved cross-stitching and her jewelry, having worked at Pollock's Jewelers in Fremont for a period of time. Survivors include her daughters: Lynn (David) Vasill of Shelbyville, KY and Karen (Jay) Viery of Port Clinton, OH; grandchildren: Kelli (Michael) Nelson, Brian Vasill & Jackie Lohmar, Evan & Alex Viery; great- grandchildren: Grace, Faith, Hope and Luke Nelson. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 P.M. at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 206 N. Park Ave, Fremont, OH with the Rev. Matt Wahlgren officiating. Interment will be at Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH.
