Synika George James Sunrise: October 10, 1978 Sunset: October 14, 2015 He spent his early years in South Bend, Indiana and moved with his family to Saint Paul as a child. He had a knack for making people laugh, and enjoyed cooking and going fishing. He had a huge heart. Synika had just celebrated his 37th birthday. Synika was preceded in death by his father, George "Buster" James, but his memory will live on in those who survive him: his mother, Diana James; stepfather, Gregory Miller; grandmother, Joyce May; siblings, Clarrisa James, Chelsie James, Kimberly James, Kelsie Miller, Stephanie Henry, Kevin Wilson, Marie Poindexter, Tony Poindexter; Angela Shivers, mother of Synika's children, Nijul, DeJhawn, Diandria, Synika James II; DeAngela, mother of Synika's children, DeAngelo, Diangela, DaQuan; nieces and nephews, Deric and Raydell, Mermon, Kingston and Kollyn, Elizabeth and Ellie, Tiana and Tania, and Jeffrey; special friends Geneka Pooh Jefferson, and Solomon (blocc) Hatchett ; cousin Perry Hardesty and many, many other relatives and friends. Honorary mothers Deborah Smith, Darlos Cook, and Linda Poindexter. Favorite nephew Kahmari Houke. He will be ushered to his rest by pallbearers and special friends, Deric Moffitt, Raydell Greenhill, Mermon Elliott, Greg Houke, Kevin Wilson, Troy Thompson, Perry Hardesty, Myron (Mike) Ashford. Honorary pallbearers Aldo Cook, Phillip Sylvester, and Jared Cook. Special thanks to DeBorah Smith and the staff at Bradshaw. A celebration of Synika's life will be at 7:00pm on Friday, October 23 at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street, with visitation beginning at 5:00pm. Repast on Saturday, Oct. 24 2-6 PM at King Center, 271 Mackubin St.
