Otis Lee Jackson Jr., 60: Was sent on his final ride after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by family on February 4, 2019. He was a longtime resident of Ocean View "OV" and Suffolk, Va. He was born in Norfolk, VA on September 8, 1958, the son of Otis and Betty Jackson. He is preceded in death by his Father Otis Lee Jackson. Left to cherish his memory is his Mother: Betty Martin Jackson of Norfolk, VA., Daughter: Randi Pribble and husband Josh of Suffolk, VA., Grandson: Josh Pribble Jr, of Suffolk, VA., Brother: Kenny Jackson and wife Liz of Suffolk, VA., Sisters: Debra Askew and husband Jimmy of Norfolk, VA., Kim Grier and husband Robert of Norfolk, VA., Tammy Williams and husband Walt of Norfolk, VA. 9 Nieces & Nephews: David, Amy, Nicole, Robert, Chelsea, Wesley, Cory, Nathan and Amanda. 5 Great Nieces and 3 Great Nephews, Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and loving friends that will miss him deeply. Otis, also known as "Jr" worked in maintenance for Perdue Farms in South Norfolk. Jr loved building, fixing and riding Harleys, listening and singing to George Jones & John Denver and while he was a professional Smartass he was also the "Peacemaker". He could always make you laugh. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2-4 and Service will be Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 both at H.D. Oliver, 1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA. Following the service Otis will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery and the Final Celebration of Life will follow at Mona Lisas Restaurant and Bar at 3574 Military Highway, Norfolk, VA.
