Hilda Rogers, 87, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017. Born October 29, 1929, in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Katheryn Lefler Gunderman. Her husband of 54 years, Amos Rogers, Jr., passed away March 14, 2002. Surviving are four children, Amos W. Rogers and his wife Betty Ann, Katheryn M. Ball and her husband Irvin, Wayne P. Rogers and his wife Beth and William A. Rogers and his wife Mandi; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy F. Gunderman and Lawrence G. Gunderman, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn E. Bartholmew and Harriet H. Hamilton and four brothers, Harold Gunderman, Wilson Gunderman Jr., Charles Dittmar and Alfred Gunderman. Graveside services will be held at 11am Tuesday in St. James "Straw Church" Lutheran Cemetery, 1213 Rt. 22 West, Greenwich Township, NJ. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, is in charge of arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
