Myrtle Weaver, age 89, of the Clayton Community, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Max Padgett and Rev. Vernie Worley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour. Myrtle was a member of New Home Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Waldon L. Weaver; survivors include her children, Cathy Wade, Suzie Wheeling (Andy), Danny Weaver (Laura) and Ricky Weaver (Windy); 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
