Stamatios Bliziotis, age 90, of New Paltz NY, died Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Mid-Hudson Regional Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born on January 8, 1928, on the Island Of Andros, Greece. He was the son of the late Leonidas and Demetra Loupesis Bliziotis. He was married to Artemis Goumas, who died on December 25, 2017. He is survived by a sister, Eve; a brother, Konstantine and several nieces & nephews locally and in Greece. Friends and relatives may call at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, 294 Greenkill Ave., Kingston, NY, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 12pm to 1pm prior to the funeral. Funeral services will begin at 1pm with the Very Reverend Father Michael A. Kouremetis, officiating. Burial follow at Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
