Leonard King

KING, Leonard: Passed peacefully away after a short illness at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Predeceased by his parents: Roland and Laura King; brother: Kevin King. Leaving to mourn his caregivers: Fred and Stacey Pittman, Diana Pittman and Melissa Hann; previous caregivers: Lorriane O’Driscoll, Jacynthe, Jessica, Devin, Samantha Ledwell, Andrew Forward, Don and Gail Kierstead and Susan Furlong; sister: Stella King, Marg Boyd (Byron) and Laura King; brother: Melvin King. As well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Leonard was a proud member of the Special Olympics, Vera Perlin and Worship Centre Church. He previously worked at Pizza Hut and briefly at the Button Shop. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00. Funeral service will be held at the Worship Centre, Canada Drive on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leonard’s name to go towards the purchase of his headstone/Plaque and remainder to the Vera Perlin and Special Olympics. I worked with lenny for 3.5 years at pizza hut.He was always in a good mood when he came to work and he was a hard worker. if one of us had a bad day lenny was always there to cheer us up and make us laugh. R.I.P Lenny your Gonna be missed by everyone who knew you
