Kevin Thomas Roop, age 51, of Seaford, DE, passed away on March 20, 2025.  Kevin was born on October 20, 1973, in Federalsburg, MD, the son of the late Rodney and Connie Roop.

Early in life Kevin did construction work with his uncle, Leroy French. In the years preceding his death, Kevin worked as a real estate photographer, auto mechanic, and at the local gun shop. Kevin was also applying for his FFLs as a final step in taking over ownership of the gun shop.

Kevin was an avid pool player and captain of his team. He enjoyed going to the gym with his son Hunter, camping with friends, and helping in any way he could with local dog rescues.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney Roop and Connie (Wood) Roop, his uncle, Leroy French, and his cousin Sandy French Wroten.

He is survived by his son, Hunter Chad Roop, his fiancé, Susan Patten-lorenzo, his stepfather, David Wooters, his aunt, Bonnie (Wood) French, his cousins, Malissa (French) Toft and Walt English, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM with a public visitation from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE.
