Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on December 10, 2015. Dick Christopher aged 65 years. Predeceased by his parents: John and Mary (nee Duke); brothers: Patrick, John, Steve and Billy; sister: Jeanie; sister-in-law: Cathy and brother-in-law: Gil Chafe. Leaving to mourn his life partner of 27 years: Linda Furey; step-children: Tammy, Bobby and Shawn; grandsons: Ryan and Richard; brother: Bernie; sisters: Lena, Mary and Bernadette (Patrick); brother-in-law: Mick; sisters-in-law: Mercedes, Georgina and Darlene; special friend: Jackie Swyer; special buddies: Jerry Coady and Dave Antle, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank to the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Home. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday from 10:00 am. – 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Parish on Monday at 9:30 am.
