Pittman, Diana Doris (nee Gosse) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 73 years, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Winse; parents Peter and Elizabeth Gosse; son Winston Lloyd; mother-in-law Nellie Pittman; brother Lloyd Gosse; brothers-in-law: Fred Pittman and Frank Stone; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Reid and Ruby Gosse. Leaving to mourn son Fred (Stacey); sisters: Violet (Greg), Vivian(Frank), Rosie, and Doreen (Junior); brother Cecil (Stella); sister -in-law Hazel Warr (Kevin); brother-in-law Herb Reid; special care giver Velma Smith, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was a former LPN with Hillview Lodge and the Hoyles -Escasoni Complex. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, January 16 and Tuesday, January 17 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 18 from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel at 11am, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
