Ms. Keyauna Bahree Ferguson, aged 32, of Miller Hill Road, Lenoir, entered this world on January 24, 1993, in Caldwell County to her loving parents, Kelly Ryker Powell and Angela Ferguson Powell both of the home. She departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Janice Powell and Evelyn Ferguson Berry.
Keyauna was a graduate of Hibriten High School and later went to Western Piedmont Community College to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She had a passion for taking care of people and helping those in need. Another love of hers was art, writing, and poetry. Keyauna was best known for her bodacious laughter that was truly infectious to all. Throughout her life she was continually complimented by others for having notable mannerisms.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her precious memory in addition to her parents include her son, Melvin Thomas Booker, Jr. of the home; siblings, Makalyn Ferguson of Lenoir, Laylia Powell of Lenoir, niece, McKenzie White; nephew, Sekani Stitt; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
