Karen Louise McCarthy, 76, of Rochester, NH peacefully passed away on March 20, 2025. Born on February 6, 1949, in Boston, MA, she was the beloved daughter of John and Marion Nordgren (Daley).
Karen loved going on adventures. She enjoyed spending time both camping in the woods and mountains, music, taking wonderful photos of her family, and reading on the beach. In her spare time, she also really enjoyed watching old television and relaxing with her dog Trooper.
One of Karen’s great passions was cooking. She worked as a line cook for quite some time at the old Pal’s Pub in Seabrook, NH. Even though she loved cooking, loved going on adventures, and loved spending time at the ocean, the thing she loved above all else was her family. She raised two amazing children, David and Kimberly, and was blessed to see 2 granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
Karen is predeceased by her parents John McCarthy and Marion Nordgren (Daley); her daughter Kimberly Lee Kruspki; and her brother Daniel (Danny) McCarthy. She is survived by her son David Kruspki and daughter-in-law April Kruspki; her granddaughters Megan Pittendreigh and Brooke Kruspki; her great granddaughter Grace Demers; her brother John McCarthy; her sister Maureen Cotell; as well as many more family members and friends.
Karen was such a sweet and caring individual and will be greatly missed not only by her family, but by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
