David R. Gardner, 97, passed away peacefully at the hospital on the evening of March 20, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born June 26, 1927, in San Bernardino, California to Ross and Kathrine Gardner. David led a very happy, active life filled with family, friends, and many activities, such as: ballroom dancing, playing and watching sports, and traveling with his family. He loved all animals and enjoyed playing tennis with his wife, Deborah, coaching his daughter’s sports teams and watching his

grandchildren grow up.

In 1983, David married Deborah, and they were lucky to have celebrated over 41 years of marriage, working together in their business endeavors, and raising their two daughters.

David is survived by his wife Deborah, his daughter Hayley Wobser, son in law Paul Wobser, daughter Dr. Heather Gardner and partner, grandchildren Amelia and Davis Wobser, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday April 12, 2025, at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. 1265 N Main St, Boerne, TX 78006.
