A Life of Love, Faith, and Connection

Danyal was a dedicated electrician who later became an electrical inspector. He didn’t just work with circuits—he connected people. Whether ensuring safety on the job or bringing joy to those around him, his impact was undeniable.

He was employed by Orange County as an Electrical Inspector in Orlando, Florida, and before that, he spent 25 years as an electrician with Bright Future Electric. But beyond his career, his greatest passion was spreading the love of God. He openly shared his testimony, showing others what it meant to live with faith, love, and purpose.

Cherished Family and Loved Ones

Danyal was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Shannon, and his two daughters, Shanelle Keaton of Harvey, Louisiana, and Deaira Keaton of Minneola, Florida.

He is also survived by his parents, Daniel and Jane Keaton of Orlando, Florida, and his siblings:

• Jashonda Wilder (husband Oliver Wilder) of Bronx, New York

• Sharnanda Keaton of Mt. Dora, Florida

• Jason Keaton (wife Melissa Keaton) of Apopka, Florida

• Sandale Keaton of Orlando, Florida

Danyal was also a proud grandfather to Zaphariah Keaton and Lay’Yonah Kelly and is remembered lovingly by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends. If you knew Danyal, you knew that family was his core—his everything!

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Mary Keaton, and his maternal grandparents, Brownie Jones and Gussie Staples.

A Life Well Lived

Danyal was an Owner at Lakeside Church, where he found joy in his faith and his community. He stayed active with power washing, side jobs, cruising around the world, road-tripping for basketball games, and most recently, electric bike riding with his wife while listening to gospel music and watching the sunset.

A Light That Will Never Dim

Though Dan the Man has completed his final inspection, his light will never fade. He spent his life wiring joy into the hearts of others, always sparking laughter and shining with kindness. Whether as an electrician, inspector, or just the funny, goofy guy who could brighten any room, Danyal made sure no one was left in the dark.

He shared his testimony with passion, connecting people not just with each other, but with the love of God. Diron’s circuit may be complete, but his energy flows on, illuminating our lives forever.
