Ronald "Ron" Jay Silvers, age 69, of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1955, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Harry and Dorothy (Kukawski) Silvers.

Ron graduated from Grand Haven High School and went on to work as an automotive technician, first at Boulevard Auto Union, and then at Tri-Cities Automotive for the rest of his career. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, and playing softball. Ron especially enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family.

Ron will be forever remembered and missed by his two sons, Chad Silvers and Kevin (Heather) Silvers, all of Grand Haven; four grandchildren whom he adored: Rebekah, Madison, Trevin, and Blythe; his significant other, Carol King; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Susan Raker (2022); and his two sisters, Judy Betke and Barbara Mirling.

A Celebration of Ron's Life will take place at a later date to be announced.
