Elaine Kremer

Elaine “Bede” Dorothy Kremer, 87, of Minong, WI, passed away December 10, 2015 at Silverado Memory Care Center, Brookfield, WI. She was born on March 14, 1928 in Superior, Wisconsin. Elaine lived in Oconomowoc and was an elementary teacher in the Watertown School District for many years before retiring to the North woods. An avid golfer and tough competitor, she was a member of the Lac La Belle Golf Club and the Spooner Golf Club with numerous tournament awards to her name. She was an accomplished seamstress and played a mean game of Bridge. Married for 65 years to her best friend, “Dune”, she never missed an opportunity to get him out on the dance floor. Elaine was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served as a wonderful model for her children and inspiration for future generations. Elaine is survived by her children Carol Boots (Jon) Wagner, Mike (Kathryn) Kremer, grandsons Ben and Nate Wagner, Sam and Joe Kremer, and great-grandchildren Taylor, Colin, Madison, Cooper Lee, Emmett, Hudson, Sawyer, Mac, Deacon, and Reid. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald. Because she was a strong advocate of education, in lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Northwood Education Foundation. (www.nef-wi.org) A private burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Minong. Her chocolate chip cookies will be missed by the hunting crew.

So sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. She, Dune and Del can be together again. We have so many memories of vacations with them and many years in Florida. My sympathy to all of you. Joan Krueger
