Kristen Noble Obituary

Kristen M. Noble, age 80, of Batavia, passed into eternal life peacefully surrounded by the love and prayers of her family and friends, Thursday, March 20, 2025. She was born on February 26, 1945 in Akron, OH to loving parents, Clifford and Clara Benson.

Kristen grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, OH where she had a picturesque childhood. She enjoyed the attention of being an only child, just as much as she loved her cousins and the large family gatherings that ensued from 14 cousins nearby. Many years later, she would keep in touch with the people that surrounded her at this time; her family, friends, and her beloved Brownie Troop. Kristen first lived in Chicago while she attended the Ray Vogue School of Design in Chicago, where she focused on fashion merchandising. Kristen returned to her home state and began working for Polsky’s department store in Akron, OH, as a buyer.

Polsky’s is where she met her husband, Steve Logiudice. They enjoyed over 30 years of marriage, two children, and a close friendship even after divorce. Wheaton is where they welcomed their son Kevin, and the family became complete with the birth of their daughter, Meghan. On more than one occasion Kristen was resilient to life’s changes and strengthened her independence. After divorce, she moved to Fox Valley. This is where she found love again and married John Noble in 2007. Kristen and John loved simple nights out while living in St. Charles and big trips abroad, living life with joy until John passed in 2011.

Over the years, Kristen worked at a variety of prominent (at the time) department stores including Chas A. Stevens, Carson Pirie Scott, and Stein Mart. She enjoyed clothing and helping others in her work, two passions which continued on after her retirement.

Kristen was incredibly active in her church, Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Charles and Fox Vally Newcomers & Neighbors club. She became an organizer extraordinaire as she both led and served on multiple committees including the Luncheon Committee and Girls Night Out.

In her later years she truly found her wings and traveled internationally. Although her favorite destination was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which she visited often with girlfriends and later with her family; Ireland, England, France and Italy filled up her passport as well. No matter where she landed during her travels, coffee mugs from each stop followed her back and graced her home. Maybe it was her parent’s talent at finding fun that made Kristen the hit of the party, or something special in the woman herself, but suffice it to say, Kristen never missed a chance to have a good time. She found a myriad of excuses to catch up with old friends, make memories with new ones and attend yet another reunion. She loved hard and her independent spirit made her friends in all walks of life; a social butterfly who would do anything to be with people. Family remained her bedrock over the years and her love of family ties was shown in countless ways every holiday. Until her final weeks, Kristen was making new friends at The Landings, forging tight bonds and sharing daily experiences. She was compassionate and interested in the lives of others until her final moments.

She is survived by two children: Kevin Logiudice and Meghan (Kevin) Lynch; her former husband and father to her children, Steve Logiudice.

She is reunited with her parents, Clifford and Clara Benson and her husband John Noble.
