Racshun Whitt age 42 of Mansfield Ohio passed away on March 20, 2025 at home following pancreatic cancer. On March 29, 1982 he was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama the son of Patricia Ann Whitt and Eddie Charles Blocker. Racshun had lived in the Winchester Apartments, Blymer Apartments, and at home with his mother. He had worked construction and also worked at Newman Tech, KFC, Hardee’s, Blevins, Nato Gates and Ohio Valley. Racshun was a good, hard-working man. Racshun went to Shiloh Full Gospel Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, cooking, spending time with family, movies, traveling, and helping other people. His proudest achievements were becoming a supervisor/manager at every job. He was a helping, caring and loving man that would help anybody in need.
Racshun is survived by his mother, Patricia Whitt; father, Eddie Blocker; siblings, Latonia Whitt, Lakisha Whitt, twin sister, Racshunda (Anthony) Whitt-White, Katrina Huffman, Shawan Tucker and Eddie Blocker; Grandma, Bessie Whitt; uncles, Mike, Bobby and Jesse Whitt and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Sylvester; grandfather, Bonnie Whitt; Cousin, Jamar Cole, aunts, Bernice Whitt, Brenda Whitt-McGee, Lula M. Blocker; step mother, Sara E. Blocker; uncle, Joe Whitt Sr.; aunts, Esterline Blocker and Janie Whitt.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society, 9 Chambers Rd Mansfield, Ohio 44906. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM-2:00PM. The chaplain with Southern Care Hospice will officiate.
The family will be receiving friends at 67 Granite Street, Mansfield on Friday, March 28, 2025 starting at 3:30 PM.
