George R. Lougheed, 77, of Londonderry, died at 8:32pm March 20, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 14, 1947, in Juneau, Alaska, to the late Hugh Robert and Irene (Peterson) Lougheed.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Troy (Brittany) Lougheed, of Londonderry; grandchildren: Desiree (Adam) Sweatt, Hannah, Jozy, Jillian and Tatum Lougheed; two step-daughters: Sandra (James) Polanco, of Winnemucca, Nevada, Gina O’Sickey, of Londonderry; step-grandchildren: Michael O’Sickey, Carson (Stephen) Gates, and step-great-granddaughter Krisenn.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister.

His friends and family called him “Bob.”  He worked as a concrete finisher.  He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served his country in the US Army.  He enjoyed reading Jack Reacher novels and watching western movies.  He loved having his grandchildren over to give snacks to and enjoyed spending time with Jozy drinking coffee and playing trivia games.  He was an avid fly fisherman and tied his own flies.  He was very protective and took pride in watching over his house and his family.

At his request, there will be no services.
