Charlotte Drake, age 84, of Hubbard, IA passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard.

Charlotte “Char” Faye (Raska) Drake was born March 12, 1941 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Paul and Marilyn Calina (Goodell) Raska.

She received her education at the Iowa Falls Community School. She was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Drake in 1968. Bob and Char were married for 31 years before divorcing. They had four children, Stephen Drake, Stephanie Drake, Stewart Drake and Robert "Robbie" Drake.

She worked for Ken's Food before purchasing the business and renaming it Char's Foods. She operated Char's food for several years until closing the store in 1993. At the same time, she also drove school buses for the Radcliffe School District and then Hubbard-Radcliffe School District. She drove for close to 30 years, creating lasting memories for the kids.

Char enjoyed large Christmas parties every year with the extended family. Filling the basement with presents for everyone. Char enjoyed golfing, bowling, and card nights with friends and spending time with her family. She enjoyed the weekend trips to Clear

Lake, watching the sunset on the lake.

Char enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She helped many people over the years, she was a good friend, great Mom and Grandma.
