With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Bruce Elroy Twine as they prepare to celebrate his lasting legacy. Mr. Twine transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, March 20, 2025. 

Services commemorating this priceless gem will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11am at Greater Saunders Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Landon B. Mason Sr., Eulogist. A Viewing and Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 5pm-7pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

As hard as it will be for Bruce’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
