With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Mark June, 71, a lifelong resident of Chatham on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Chatham-Kent Hospice. Born in Chatham 72 years ago. Son of the late Cecil and Audrey June. Survived by siblings Audrey, Joe McLoughlin, Gail Kenny, Richard, Bonnie, Gordon, David, Brian, Glenda, Colin, Burton, Barry Shari, Johnathan. Predeceased by siblings, Carolyn, Clayton, Stephen, Dennis, Dianne and Lawrence. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family. John enjoyed cars and trucks. He built both model cars and trucks. At one point John built his own stock car which he raced at the dirt track at South Buxton. He also loves John Wayne movies. He will be missed by all those who loved him. A private family graveside will take place at a later date where his remains will be laid to rest with his family. The family would like to thank Chatham-Kent Hospice for their exceptional care during this difficult time. Those choosing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
