Barry Lynn Bullington, 72, passed peacefully on March 20, 202,5 surrounded by his family. He was born in Athens, AL on December 2, 1952, to JH and Ann Bullington. He graduated from East Limestone High School. He met Sybil Stroud during their time at the University of Alabama and later married on September 11, 1976, eventually starting a family in Huntsville, AL. He spent his career in project management as a government contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sybil; children, Gabe, Adrienne Moody (Jeremy), and Morgan Bullington; grandchildren, Kate, Anna, and Will Moody; parents, JH and Ann; and siblings Brett, Barbara, and Bruce. He has many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins that he cherished greatly as well.

He was preceded in death by his brother Brian Bullington.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, friendly disposition, and care for others. Barry loved his family tremendously, and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones any chance he could get. He was an active member of his church and was involved in their disaster relief team. He cherished his friendships greatly and looked forward to weekends spent with his lifelong friends he made during his college years. He will be missed by all those who knew him.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Mayfair Church of Christ in Huntsville followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
