With her loving husband by her side, Karen passed away unexpectedly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, March 20, 2025, one day before her 57th birthday. Beloved wife of John Adams. Proud mom of Hannah and Paige (Kyle). Devoted daughter of Murray and Roberta Wilson. Adored sister of Michelle Horton (Randy) and Heather Wilson; and sister-in-law of David Adams. Loving aunt of Abbie (Nelson) and Zach. Cherished daughter-in-law of George Adams and Linda Petransky. Karen will be dearly missed by her network of close friends and colleagues, and of course by her extensive family including her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her dear cat Gizmo who loved her so much.

There will be a celebration of Karen’s life at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough, on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. with eulogies beginning at 2:00 P.M.

Karen loved animals and would have appreciated donations to the Peterborough Humane Society.
