We gather here today to honor and celebrate the life of Rina Chinchilla, a woman whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love left a lasting mark on all who knew her. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we also find comfort in remembering the incredible person she was and the love she so freely gave.
Rina was a devoted mother to her four sons, a woman who sacrificed and worked tirelessly to give them a beautiful life filled with opportunity and love. She put their needs before her own, ensuring they were always cared for, supported, and encouraged. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she took great pride in watching her sons grow into the men she always knew they could be.
As a grandmother, she was a source of warmth and guidance, always praying over her grandchildren, surrounding them with love and wisdom. She found so much joy in them, and they were truly blessed to have a grandmother who cared so deeply.
Rina’s kindness was a light in the lives of so many. She had a heart that was always ready to give, whether it was through her prayers, her time, or a comforting meal. She was a phenomenal cook, and her kitchen was a place where love was shared through every dish she prepared. For Rina, cooking was never just about food—it was about bringing people together, nourishing both body and soul.
She lived a life of faith, love, and sacrifice, always doing what she could to help those she loved. Her strength was quiet yet powerful, her presence comforting and constant. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, her lessons, and her love will continue to live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at Don Catchen Funeral Home in Elsmere, KY on Tuesday March 25, 2025 10am to 12pm. Funeral service will be held at 12pm. Burial will be at Highlands Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell KY.
