Bernard J. Kuhn, 89, passed Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home.  He was the husband of the late Darla J. (Smith) Kuhn, his wife of 56 years, who passed January 18, 2022.

Bernard was born January 27, 1936, in New Oxford, the son of the late Edward and Anna (Riser) Kuhn.

Bernard was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford, and a life member of Irishtown Fire Company, New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, and McSherrystown Fish & Game.

Bernard is survived by two daughters, Wanda M. Shull and her husband John of Hanover, and Kristal A. Eckert and her husband Rick of New Oxford, three grandchildren, Dustin Shull and his wife Jenna, Jesse Shull and his wife Sarah, Courtney Mobley and her husband Cody, five great grandchildren, Olivia, Piper, Cadence, Lona and Lennex,  two brothers, James Kuhn and his wife Carole of Gettysburg, and Joseph Kuhn and his wife Linda, of New Oxford, and two sisters, Linda Baltzley and Jane Walker, both of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by four brothers, Edward, Donald, John and Robert Kuhn, and two sisters, Barbara Kuhn and Sandra Slagle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, with Rev. Keith Carroll officiating.  A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 6-8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with prayers at 8 PM.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
