Mr. Ronnie Ray Street, age 73, of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Thursday (March 20, 2025) at his home. Born April 15, 1951 in Buchanan County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Ervin and Emma Jackson Street. A 1969 graduate of Garden High School, he had spent most of his life in the Buchanan County area before moving to Lebanon in 2008. He was a former coal miner, having been employed by Consol Coal Company, and was a member of the UMWA. He was of the Christian faith and attended Spring City Baptist Church when his health permitted. He enjoyed fishing, but was a homebody that enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Mae Vance, and daughter Charlotte Street.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Street and Michael Street and wife, Lee Ann; two grandchildren, Benjamin Street and Jessica Street.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Nathan Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery on Big A Mountain, Virginia.

UMWA honors will be conducted by UMWA Sub 28 Chaplain Corp.

Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home.
