Mary Jansen, 71, of Exeter passed away at University Hospital, London on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
Surviving is her husband Rudy Jansen, her children Mary Jane Willemse (James), Pat Coyne (Cheryl), Cathy Templeman (Cain) and Rudy's children Tricia McLaughlin (Dan), and Nicolas Jansen (Julie). She will be missed by her grandchildren Cathleen, Ryan, and Joey Willemse; Michael, Liam and Lucas Coyne; Caleb, Haileigh and Cole Templeman; Cooper and Crosby McLaughlin; Landon and Lauryn Jansen. Dear sister of Jack Kelly (Cecelia), and Nancy Stapleton (Neil). Dear sister-in-law of Rita Kelly, Anne Kelly, Wilma Jansen, Bob Jansen (Sandra), Mary-Lou Murray (Allan) and Steve Jansen (Val). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Michael (1992), parents Fergus and Esther Kelly, brothers Keith Kelly, Ferg Kelly and Robert Kelly.
Mary was a woman of great faith. She prayed the Rosary and a selection of prayers from her Catholic Book of Prayers daily. She was a registered nurse in the Emergency Department of Seaforth Community Hospital for many years. Mary enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dublin on Wednesday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Columban Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre, 116 Montreal St., Mitchell. Memorial donations to Seaforth Community Hospital or South Huron Hospital would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
