Leonilda "Lee" Latora, 92, of Riverdale, NJ formerly of Somerville, passed away March 20, 2025. Born in Newark to the late Anthony and Catherine (Berardi) Bonassisa, she worked for the Somerville school system in the cafeteria. She was the oldest of ten children and always loved and cared for her siblings. She was a wonderful mother who enjoyed the simple things in life like cooking and drawing. Her kindness and strength always remained true. Beloved mother of Lisa Latora and Nicholas Latora. Loving grandmother of Stephanie, Vincent, Philip, Jordan and Nicky. Also survived by her brothers Rocco and Anthony Bonassisa, and sisters Rosina Foti and Marie Bonassisa. Predeceased by her husband Philip in 2002. Visiting hours Monday, March 24, 9-11 am at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Prayer service at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at St. Bernards Cemetery, 551 Route 28, Bridgewater, NJ.
