Jerry Wayne Hendricks Jr., 60, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 5:54 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home in Hannibal, MO.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2025, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.

Jerry was born December 29, 1964, in Hannibal, MO to Jerry W. Hendricks Sr. and Shirley Smith Piper.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Piper (Ornel "Pete"); one son, Ryan W. Hendricks; one sister; Lisa Hendricks- Jarman; nephew, Drew Jarman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hendricks; one niece, Danielle A. Smith; and stepbrother, Frank D. Piper.

Professionally, Jerry was an over the road truck driver for many years.

Jerry was known for his unwavering passion for fishing, where he found peace and joy in the simple act of waiting for the next big catch. His dedication to maintaining and taking care of his truck was not just a hobby but a testament to his appreciation for things that last. Jerry enjoyed watching old films and movies and could often be found quoting lines from his favorite Clint Eastwood westerns. Mushroom hunting was another of Jerry's hobby's that he looked forward to each spring. Jerry looked forward to spending time with his family, whether it was a holiday dinner, a barbecue, or just a get together. Above all, Jerry cherished the time with his son and family.

Jerry was Christian by faith.

Pallbearers will be Ray Zumwalt, Jason Darr, Drew Jarman, and Mike Crane.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
